How Do I Get Sims
-
edited June 2011I saw a video on how to do it before, and the only way I know how is you have to create a secondary outfit for women using the clothing pieces that they change into during a pregnancy (ie the dress that doubles as a nightgown)
-
edited June 2011You have to choose outfits that are also classed as maternity wear before your sim gets pregnant then they will wear those instead of a random maternity outfit
Not sure if there is an easy way to tell whats classed as maternity or not -

Ah right, I'll have to do that next time then! This sim will be having LOTS of babies -
edited June 2011If you use the master controller mods, you can just click on the sim and take her into the stylist thing (where you change her clothes and all that)
I'm not sure if it works if you click on the stylist wardrobe thing and get a 'makeover' but you can always try it out :P -
edited June 2011You have to choose the clothes before her bump shows. All of the clothes in Generations are maternity.

So what you picked for her everyday outfit will stretch and also become maternity wear, as long as the clothing came with Generations?
What about sleepwear? -

Yup the outfit stays the same if its from Generations. Theres no new sleepwear in Generations so we still get the same stuff for that. -

I absolutely love your signature!! Castiel, Dean, and Simon Cowell :-) -
edited June 2011Oh! That makes a lot of sense..
None of my female Sims were changing clothes after they found out they were pregnant, and I was kind of concerned. I had them all dressed outfits that came with the EP though, so I'd probably just picked clothes that are classified as maternity.
I thought I had a bug. -
edited September 2012But you see, the master controller mods don't allow you to edit pregnant women, to my dismay. I don't have generations so, doing resear h really saves my sims from ugly maternity clothes.

edited September 2012You need to make a second outfit before they get pregnant, if they get pregnant before you change to second outfit you won't be able to choose maternity clothes,
Hope this helps,

edited April 2013Here is a great video that shows you how to do it.

edited April 2013I'm pretty sure that you have to change there clothes in that small time frame between when they 'try for a baby' and actually realize they're pregnant. All of the clothes that came with the generations EP are maternity, as far as I know. There may be a few exceptions but I doubt it. I know there is this one frumpy dress that they always wear that's really basic, and other than that, no clue.
I think you have to change all of her clothes to the new (not so cute) generations clothes. I'm not sure if that works but that's how I understand it!
Hopefully that works out, or someone figures it out for sure. I hate the normal maternity clothes.0 -

so i pick out a second outfit, change them into it, make them try for a baby and when it says theyre pregnant they will stay in the second outfit i made them that they were already wearing? OR do i make them try for baby and then before it declared that theyre pregnant, then change them into the second outfit? :? :?: -
edited September 2013after you have 'tried for baby' do an action a pregnant Sim cannot do (i go in a hot tub, i find it easiest) and make sure your sim has a high mood for the have no reason to leave the hot tub. The will leave the hot tub when they become pregnant. Then change the sims outfit to everday or whatever and it will go to your regular outfit plan

what is the Master Controller cheat -
edited May 2014If worse comes to worse and the clothes don't change and you get a horrid set of maternity clothes, keep your female sim inside to stop pure embarrassment. 8)

edited May 2014There is a way by downloading Nraas and going to the advanced section then edit in CAS (Create a sim) it works when they're pregnant as well GoodLuck
-
edited June 2014There are two ways to do it that I know of. One way is to set the clothes like you want before she gets pregnant.
Another way is to download the NRaas Master Controller mod. After you download the mod and put it in your game, click on the pregnant sim, click on NRaas, click on Master Controller, then click on stylist. It will send you to CAS and you can set the pregnancy clothes you want (as long as it's pregnancy compatible).0 -
edited June 2014I've tried to plan their clothes even before my sim tries for a baby but it still changes.. a bit of help please? :?:
-
edited June 2014I never really tried it, but what I believe is maternity wear is anything lose fitting and not tight fighting, long dresses pajamas and gowns, t-shirts and loose stretchy cloth. If your teen is wearing a loose stretchy shirt she will not change that when she is pregnant, but most sims if they are wearing 2 piece cloth will most likely automatically turn into their pajamas if they are acceptable maternity wear. If the day shirt is ok they will keep the shirt use the buttom part of their pajamas.Sid1701d-'I love my life, live my life and live to play, laugh and have fun.'
